On Defender of the Fatherland Day, the President laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by the Kremlin Wall.

Wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The President honoured the memory of the fallen soldiers with a minute of silence.

The ceremony ended with a solemn march of the guard of honour and a military band.
