On December 24, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Mr. Hayashi Yoshimasa.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Japan, and also discussed cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue.

At the end of the meeting, the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for 2023-2025 was signed.
